This is a solo I wrote for the jazz standard Autumn Leaves using a variety of thecniques that I have learned over my years of playing jazz.
Under each phrase I wrote the logic behind it and how I came up with it. you can look at what I did and use the same ideas in your own solos and improvisations. In this solo I used ideas such as: Melody References, Pentatonic scales, Altered Scales, Arpeggious, Approach notes, References to other tunes and more. I realle hope this helps you with your playing! * I also added a walking bass that you can play with your left hand. ** The Bach reference is to the piece Solfeggito in C minor (I transposed it to E minor).
